InfoCitrus is an online data management system for the citrus industry. It permits growers / packers, and packing facility operators to enter citrus volume data to allow the calculation of aggregated results of citrus production and supply estimates and then to re-supply the combined data to the contributors for improved supply, growing, operational and business decision making.
The data also provides Citrus Australia with improved knowledge on the state of the citrus industry which can be further used to add value for growers when planning production and supply.
The five main regions for the focus of InfoCitrus within this project are the Murray Valley, Riverina, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
