Citrus Australia Pledges Support for Overhaul of South Australian Citrus Industry

Citrus Australia today pledged its full support for the revitalisation of the South Australian citrus industry through the creation of a new, united representative organisation.“After six years of industry discussion, debate, independent reviews and a new national peak industry body (Citrus Australia Ltd), the decision to work together on a fresh new single entity for South Australia has come at a critical time for industry,” said Tania Chapman, Chair of Citrus Australia. “We urgently need to reduce duplication, inefficiencies and unnecessary costs in our industry representative structure.”
