Export pack house registration open for 2018 season
Citrus pack houses that pack fruit for export protocol markets will be able to register for the 2018 season from Monday 16 October according to Citrus Quality and Market Information Manager, Nathan Hancock.
‘Packers that have previously registered for markets such as Korea, China and Thailand will receive an email soon with links to their application form’ he said.
Those pack houses that have not previously registered can contact the Citrus Australia office to begin the process.
‘Keep an eye out for the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) Industry Advice Notice (IAN) relating to export pack house registration’ Nathan added.
Orchard and block applications will commence on 1 November, growers will be notified by email and DAWR’s IAN.
Assistance is available through emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the Citrus Australia office on 03 5023 6333.
